Morrisons Supermarket

in this supermarket you can find most things, but i do think for fruit and veg its very expensive compared to the other supermarkets.
Ample parking and its in a very good location. It has a florists attached to the store which is part of morrisons and is handy if you want to place an order. Great for lunch time as they have a salad bar and place you can order freshly made sandwiches.
I don’t normally shop at morrisons in general but this store its good for convinebnce.

Ok, so another update as I’ve now ventured into the actual supermarket several times. It’s really good. Huge selection, friendly, proactive staff, great prices and good quality. Check out is really quick with the big self checkout section. Takes mere minutes and there’re staff to help right there if there’s any problem with scanning or whatever. There’s a great meat, fish and veg selection, plus the bread is crazy cheap and dead good. I pop in 2 – 3 times a week now to and from my office 5 minutes away. They have a sell by date section that’s always worth a look. I’ve had quite a few bargains now. I also like the sour dough bread. I don’t really bother with the café any-​more. It’s too inefficient and slow. Shame as I thought on my first visit it could become a regular lunch time hang out. Just experience since has been, inevitably, not quite good enough. I’d give the shop 5***** but keep the café on 3***, so overall a 4**** seems about fair.

It’s Morrison’s so you probably know what it is-​a cheapish supermarket. This is the biggest one around for city centre residents though, as far as I know, and is pretty shiny and welcoming.
Great produce, large deli section and salad bar and best of all they even have samples out sometimes. Samples are my favourite! They do best on their chilled and fresh section; the rest of the shop is pretty ordinary but they have a reasonably good selection of everything.
Morrison’s have just the worst self checkouts around in general and these ones are no exception. The assistants on the manned tills are generally pleasant, however.
Bonus: florists too! For that emergency bouquet…

This supermarket is in a very convenient location on the Five Ways island. You enter the car park via the Hagley Road and exit onto Harbourne Road, which can be difficult at times as buses stop right by the car park exit!
The fresh produce is very good. There are lots of interesting salad and vegetables to buy, a fantastic butcher and fishmonger, a deli and a pizza counter.
The rest of the store is fine and you can find everything you would expect to find.
It is usually quite busy so you have to wait a while at the tills but the staff are very good and get through your shopping as quickly as possible.

The fresh fruit and veg section here rarely fails to disappoint, they have most of what you could ever need, and it’s conveniently located next to the pre packed salad which is always cheap and has a large variety of choice. (Unlike most supermarkets and pre packed salad).
The meat section here is amazing, in both the wide choice of cuts and the fact that it’s pretty darn good value! I always prefer to come here if I’m planning on buying a few cuts of meat. The fish section is not a disappointment either, with crayfish, scallops and lobster available it’s a good call of decadence for a local supermarket. They sell salmon all the ways that you could possibly want it, and the fresh battered fish is really quite inexpensive compared with other supermarkets.
