Mumbai mix has to be the best Indian take out in this neck of the woods. The service is always really good-natured and generous. I’ve never ordered a take away which hasn’t included little extras thrown in, which, let’s face it, we all appreciate. The standard of the food is always top notch. Admittedly it’s not exactly Michelin starred, but who wants that on a Friday night after a hard week’s work and a few beers? They also have a really good vegetarian selection, which is great, rather being limited to your standard Aloo Gobi or Vegetable Saag. The only downside for me is that there is nothing particularly outstanding — and I love a signature dish or a chef’s recommendation. That said, at least you know that everything is a sure bet. I am very fond of their peshawari naan. But I’m fond of everyone’s peshawari naan. In fact, writing this is making my mouth water … Mumbai Mix, here I come!(Again…)
