After a night out on the town a morning after meal is always called for, something to mop that hangover with… I go to O’neils because the food and service is always pretty good. There is a big selection so you’ll always find something you want. My food came out just how i wanted it and the staff was exceptionally friendly and chatty(even if i wasn’t) It was quiet enough to be able to chat to friends whilst enjoying the food. Will Definitely be back soon.

This place is a given for me when the girls are in town. The quiet foodie pub by day is transformed to a crazy bussling eclectic haven on a saturday night. It never feels like the same place. The bar gets pretty crowded but you always get served as the main seating area becomes a dance floor for the crowd that flocks to O’Neills. The DJ Rob keeps the place rocking with music that maneouvres its way through all genres to keep everyone happy. And we sing… boy do we sing lolol. Its a walk to the back of the bar to the toilets and outside smoking area. To the left and right there are entrances exits to the venue staffed by the door men. The crowd seems to reflect more of the older crowd which suits us just fine. Rob knows how to keep us ladies happy lol

A great place to have a pint, its a more relaxed pub atmosphere. I usually have a beer with colleagues here each time I am in in UK in the area on business. The usually rotate different beers on the taps which is nice.

Despite being on Broad St, O’Neills maintains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are lots of booths to tuck yourself away into and when there isn’t sport on the music is pretty good. Food is pretty good, a great selection of burgers, grills and hearty meals like sausage and colcannon. You know you can go to O’Neills and have some pretty good pub grub. There are a variety of ciders and beers available. Nothing too imaginative but not bog standard either. Food and drinks aren’t the cheapest but they are affordable. I wouldn’t personally go here for a night out but I might start there!

This is a great pub situated on Broad Street that serves a good variety of drinks and food with Burger nights on Monday and Tuesday and Fizz Friday on Fridays! There is plenty of seating and proves to be a popular pub and therefore gets busy, but I have always found a seat. I found the bar staff welcoming, engaging in conversation and banter. My mojito was made well and had the right combination of flavours — perfect! They also have live music here from time to time — check out their website for details. A great pub for both drinks and food and a pub that I would be happy to visit again.

Before movies last night we headed to O’Neills on Broad Street for a bite to eat. There was a nice atmosphere in there, plenty of people yet good availability of seats too. The lady who served us was really friendly and helpful, even bending the rules a little(I won’t say how, but we thought she was cool for doing it!). We had food from their excellent value set menu, and it really was very tasty. Hot, served quickly but not so quickly that you wonder how it made it to your table just before you did. There was enough time for things to be cooked well, and there was plenty of it. As far as chain pubs go, I really rather like this one and would certainly go again if I were eating before or after Cineworld visits!

Being half Irish, I often like to pop in here for a quick half a Guiness with blackcurrant. it’s surprisingly tasty! I have to admit that it doesn’t have the greatest Irish atmosphere, I blame the fact its slap bang in the middle of Broad Street. However, the guys behind the bar are super friendly(maybe they’re all drunk on Guiness?) and always make effort to chat to you. The best thing about this pub is that they have a lunch time menu where meals are only £3.49 each. I tend to go for the Peri Peri chicken breast with chips and peas but I hear the chicken and mushroom crockpot is pretty tasty too as my friends always opts for that one.

This Irish gem is just perfect for a good relaxing night out, with a chilled pub atmosphere, everyone will feel welcome in here. O’Neills isn’t too badly priced, and the weekends are quite busy. If your feeling peckish, they also serve traditional pub food, which is decent enough, just be prepared to wait a while for it. The staff are very welcoming in here, and 1 of my friends tried chatting up one of the bar tenders(but she had a girlfriend, apparently). You’ll not be disappointed in coming to this well known watering hole. Be prepared to wait a while on the weekends when queueing for drinks, and they do have specials on. Otherwise, well worth a visit on any weeknight.

As with many places on Broad Street, O’Neills is extremely busy on the weekend, but this Irish haven is also known as a fairly popular day time destination for students and people alike. A famous Irish themed pub, O’Neills has been my choice of destination for ST Paddy’s day for as long as I can remember. Copious amounts of Guinness, alongside a typically joyous Irish atmosphere, I have often suggested O’Neills as the place to be on the 17th March. Even on not so popular occasions, including most weekends, O’Neills is known for its great atmosphere and friendly staff, overall a definite recommendation on my part.

Busy city centre faux-Irish chain pub. And not bad for all that; some really nice food, a decentish pint of Guinness(although only the extra cold, and red, not the normal version), friendly service. Saturday night, they crank the music up and the DJ is so dreadful it’s almost worth hanging around to listen to the never-ending chat. Almost :-p

Good place for an after work drink or lunchtime meal, food is standard pub grub with an Irish theme to it. Is not somewhere you would want to spend the whole night as the music is not that good, but it is a good place to start the night and have a few drinks.
