My family love eating here. We go every time we visit my in-laws. It is a comfortable restaurant. They don’t have a license so you need to take your own booze with you. They do do soft drinks though. The food is excellent, flavoursome and perfectly spiced. The service is friendly. It can be a little slow on busy nights but as we generally eat earlier in the evening this isn’t usually a problem for us. This restaurant ranks as equal 1st in my favourite restaurants. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Sooo I have been here several times, but not since joining Unilocal.Usually it’s for friends Birthday meals, so there is a table of 8 – 14 of us including small children. On Saturday our table was booked for 6.45 and we all turned up on time and were handed menu’s quickly. The restaurant was very quiet at this point, but in a short space of time it was full. In short, we had to wait until 8.15 just to get our starters,(ofcourse they forgot mine) and over an hour for the children’s drinks, despite asking may times. Our main courses didn’t arrive until 9.30 and by this point we were all tired and hungry. They also forgot some of the side orders. The food here has always been consistently good and the staff friendly, but this time we were not attended to at all and the food was of a lower standard-my naan bread was burnt and there were only 4 small pieces of chicken in a dish costing £7.80. The owner eventually came to apologise and offered to give the kids free icecream(I think the kids were fine it was the adults that were annoyed!) but even then they didn’t bring enough out! I paid for my meal but no tip. I think some people wanted to argue for a discount, but after asking 4 times for the bill in the first place, I didn’t want to wait any longer in there-10.30 when we left! The service here has always been slightly slow, which is fine if you want a relaxing meal/don’t have small children and aren’t going anywhere else! I may go back again(if that’s where my friends choose for their bday meals), but not voluntarily!

I love Radhuni. Partly because it’s 2 minutes walk from my house, but mainly because it’s really good. There is a mind-boggling choice of dishes on the menu and everything I’ve tried has been great(and believe me, I’ve tried a few). The dishes I seem to keep coming back to though, are the two fish options, the curiously named Salmon Wait and See, and the slightly hotter Karkri Fish Masala, both of which are excellent, served in thick, delicious and well spiced sauces. Radhuni is also good value, with a meal for two including poppadoms, starters, mains and bread coming in at just under £30. It is also unlicensed so you can bring your own beer. The staff are friendly and happy to accommodate any special requests such as extra chilli etc. and on the odd occasion that we’ve been too lazy to even drag ourselves off the sofa they have delivered with no issues. The take away food is just as good as that served in the restaurant and if anything the portions are even more generous. In a city full of curry houses, this one is a cut above the rest and definitely worth a visit.

My friends and I have stopped going here since an elderly relation left a substantial amount of money for us to eat there. This was when we had the horrendous snow where nothing was going anywhere. We called several times to reschedule but was just answerphone received. We left several messages very early on the afternoon. Well the management were desperate, well they must have been as they charged our relation £100 from his money. So needless to say with plenty of choice to eat locally this is exactly what we do now. I am sure their greed will cost them more than£100.

I’d never eaten here until recently, for a friend’s birthday. In fact, I’d never even realised that it was here — which is ridiculous as it’s right under my nose… Now that I know it is, however, I’m a little concerned for my waistline and my wallet. Not that it’s particularly pricey — in fact, it’s very reasonable. It’s just that eating out every day of the week might not be the best idea. Which is a shame, because it would be amazing to spend every day of the week in here. They’re super-friendly and helpful and the food is always great. I had a vegetarian dish when I went(sadly I can’t remember what it was called!) but it was gorgeous — really full of flavour rather than just tasting of HOT, which can sometimes be the case with curry. I think they even have some vegan selections, but I wasn’t about to go that far… The whole party enjoyed their food, were impressed by the service and I think are pretty much all planning on visiting again. In fact, they do takeaway, so you don’t even have to leave your house — although I would recommend that you do, as the atmosphere and the staff are lovely.

I first used this restaurant as a take away because for some reason our usual wasn’t available. Can’t remember why. Came across Radhuni by accident really as I’m usually a creature of habit. The smells coming out of the building always make my stomach rumble, even if I’ve just eaten. I have to say that in a world stuffed full of similar restaurants, the food from here is really lovely. They do the usual fare, but with lovely subtle twists and the flavours are just gorgeous. I’ve only ever used it as a take away though so can’t comment on the restaurant part. The only thing is that they do take quite a while to deliver. When they say 45 minutes they usually mean that plus a little bit more. It’s fine as long as you’re aware of this when you order as the food is worth the wait. The first time I used them though we nearly gave up on seeing our food(although they had a new delivery driver apparently) but the owner was very apologetic. Stick with them, they’re worth it.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Birmingham. I use it for take aways and I have been in with family and friends before. There are many things I love about this restaurant, firstly, the staff are wonderful. They are always friendly when we dine in and they now recognise me too, which makes me feel welcome and makes me always want to return. Last time I went, the manager showed me some photos of his family and I like the fact that they are relaxed around me, but also always so helpful. I feel like they are friends! The décor is warm and quite stylish and the music always creates a relaxing atmosphere. The food is perfect and rich in flavour. I have tried many different things from the menu and have never been disappointed. I particularly enjoy the combination dishes as you can try more than one dish at the same time, but for a similar price to a main dish and rice is included! If I dine in, I always take my own alcohol as they do not have a bar, but they are always happy to store drinks in their fridge for me. The restaurant can get quite busy and I tend to book now as I have had to wait in the past, however, I have visited on a Sunday night and managed to get a table, I guess it is just luck! When I have ordered a take away from them it usually takes about 40 minutes. I am glad it does not come too quickly as I know they have spent the time to cook it properly. This is one of my favourite restaurants and take aways as the staff are lovely and welcoming and the food is top notch!
