Went here yesterday for lunch. There were about 5 hen parties on the go, so the place was filled with screaming drunk women. The waiter was nice. He said there’d be about a 20 minute wait for our food so at least he told us the food would take a little bit longer to arrive. The menus are on wooden clipboards. I ordered a Margherita Pizza as did my sister. Her one was cooked to perfection, it tasted really nice whereas my pizza was overdone with burnt cheese on the top, the crust was rock hard. The pizza was served on a wooden platter with a pizza cutter, you eat on that wooden platter they don’t give you plates. It’s nice that the menu and platter fit in with the wooden rustic décor of the place but I don’t really care about these little things. The pizza cutter didn’t help me at all as my pizza was really difficult to cut, even with a knife and fork it was still difficult. My pizza didn’t taste that bad, but it wasn’t good either. My sister and I ordered the same dish, so why was mine overdone?! My dad ordered a pizza from the summer special list I believe, it had ricotta cheese and anchovies and courgettes, he likes hot food so he asked if roquito peppers were hot. The waiter said yes so he opted to add those on his pizza. I tasted some of his pizza when it arrived and it tasted so salty, and the peppers were not hot at all, they tasted sweet. My dad(this a direct quote) said it was the worst pizza he ever had. My mum ordered fish and chips which she said was amazing, my dad and sister tried some of her meal and also said it was great. The price of all these dishes were way too expensive especially with the poor quality of food we received. At least my mum and sister enjoyed their meal but my dad and myself ate horrible food. Will never go here again, not a good place to eat.

I went here with my best friend after the movies for a drink. After we chose what were we drinking, the waitress started preparing the cocktail. It’s a super basic one: absolute vodka, red bull and champagne. Music was fantastic and the atmosphere was good, although I could see the only two people in the bar struggling because it was just the two of them. Overall, the results of the drinks was ok, but the place needs to put at least one more person per shift. Dirty glasses everywhere, toilets, don’t even make me talk about that… I might come back. Who knows.

We all love drinking cocktails but perhaps we don’t make them as often as we could do. Erm, actually perhaps YOU don’t make them as often as YOU should. I’m drinking a Negroni as I type. Anyway, we were invited to a cocktail making masterclass at Revolution Vodka Bar on Broad Street and we couldn’t say no. The class was held at the upstairs private bar giving those attending plenty of room to move about and hear each other talk — even on a busy Friday night. The evening was led by our friendly bar tender, who started the shake off with a Strawberry Woo Woo — paired with some cheese, before some of us jumped behind the bar to create a classic mojito(served with crusted shrimp), a cosmopolitan(accompanied with nachos and guacamole) and finally a Tennessee mudslide with chocolate truffles. We then took turns to create a cocktail of our choosing from the menu, with a little help from the bar tender. We created a Jammy Bastard and a Basil Grande. The class was both informative with facts about origins of spirits and the drinks, and fun with games and challenges along the way — plus there was no shortage of things to drink. After the class we were invited to stay around for some food from the main menu, sadly this is where the evening lost its shine. Three members of the group ordered pizza, the waitress informed us that there were only two pizza bases left(at 7pm on a Friday), ten minutes later the waitress returned to tell us that one of the two pizza bases had been«accidentally destroyed» and so they’d have to choose another dish. Your reviewer had the Bourbon Bad Boy burger which was very large and juicy but had no hint of the promised bourbon, with spicy fries which were overly caked in chilli powder and salt. It’s fair to say we were a little disappointed with the dining after such a great cocktail class — but it seemed more an organisational issue than a quality of food one. Over all we’d give: — The Revolution Cocktail Making Masterclass a score of 4.5 /5 — a fun and highly intoxicating way to spend the evening with a few friends. — Revolution’s dining experience: 3⁄5 — nowhere near as organised as it should be, perhaps worth revisiting again at a later date.

Definitely worth a night out here. Revolution bar is cool, swanky and stylish, red leather booths with individual paper style lamp shades for soft lighting. The bar is fairly big with a dance area towards the back of the bar. large range of cocktails, beers, trays of assorted shots and spirits. If in a group, it works out better to buy a bottle of spirit outright instead of shot rounds as this can get expensive. Although we paid £120 for a bottle of Ciroc vodka, it came with two mixers in a bucket of ice. Good range of dance, old skool and rnb music played. Awesome atmosphere. Good vibes and good times!

It’s been years since I have been here and the place has changed since then, it has a whole new décor theme, I would best describe it as across between indie and rustic with a lot of wood decking, I think it looks better to be fair and makes the place feel a whole lot better if I’m honest, it was pretty quiet in there(it was a Monday night after all!) only two bar members were on but that was plenty with the amount of people that were in the bar(only a handful of couples) When we had a look at the cocktail menu(plenty on offer) the one I remembered as my favourite wasn’t on offer but I asked the manager and he was more than happy to do the cocktail for me… happy days! Most of the seating areas in the bar are booths which are really comfy to sit back and relax with your fancy cocktail. Will def be going back again either it be on a week day or weekend

went for a coctail masterclass as part of hen partyfantastic! well worth the money, we had a great time. the staff were friendly and fun, and you get a lot more alcohol than we expected! needless to say, by the time the masterclass was finished and we sat down for a meal(we booked tables to have a meal separate, we didnt book as part of coctail package) we were rather tipsy! but the food was great, tasty and fresh, and the great service continued. recommended!

I’m a big fan of Vodka Revs, although the majority of my visits have been alcohol fueled and brief. My friends and I often use the bar as a stop off point on our way to bigger clubs, such as Gatecrasher for example and it does a great job. Situated near the top of Broad Street, the bar, surprisingly enough, specializes in. Vodka. Offering a huge variety of flavours and cocktails, enough to please everyone, the bar is often busy during the weekend. The drinks are fairly priced and the staff as pleasant as you like, with the music as original as it comes, with the top 40 on the majority of the time. All in all, a top quality bar, one that I would definitely recommend.

One of the bars I’ve been to the most, Revolution is still the place to go to if you are just looking for a simple but fun evening with a few girlfriends. I love it because you can just order cocktails all night and pretend to look like the fabulous cast from ‘Sex & the City’. Most people call it ‘Revs’, that’s actually how most people know the place. Located on Broad Street, it’s easy to access and because it’s on the busiest main road where all the clubs and bars are; you are not too far away from what’s going on in the area. It’s also a bar where you can start off the night and start of your drunken weekend! The drinks are reasonably priced which means you can actually have more than one or two drinks before thinking…‘we have to leave’. The ambiance in there is also fantastic; they play music but at least try to mix the music they play. The added bonus is that if you love Gatecrasher, it’s only next door so you only have to go from one bar to another.

A great tasteful bar and lounge on the Birmingham late night party seen. This is just a superb place to hang out with your mates and friends, loud, a brilliant party and dance atmosphere, with a diverse drinks menu, this bar ticks all the boxes, and more. Yes it’s close to other well known bars nearby, but this is one of the best. Some clubbers booked one of the booths next to were we found some seats for a party, and got their own service. It’s a very social place, and one that you’ll remember. They also serve food in here, which is great for a ‘one place has it all’, but I’ve not yet eaten in here, just had great drinks. Give this is a go, you’ll soon become a regular.

A staple of any big bevvy-filled night out, Vodka Revolution is the place to go for cocktails and shots that will undoubtedly get the party started. Located on Broad Street, where it obviously has lots of competition from neighbouring bars, Revolution is a preferred choice due to its drinks menu and comfy interior — and the nicest Rev I’ve ever encountered, to be honest. With the bar stretching down one length of the room facing plush booths with brown leather sofas on the opposite side, it’s definitely a place you can relax and wind down(or should that be up?) with a drink before you get into full-on dance mode at Gatecrasher. Weekday student nights and every weekend does offer a soundtrack of chart and old-skool favourites, but really you’ll be here to sample the awesome selection of flavoured shots available. If you’re brave enough, why not indulge in a round of chilli roulette? Whoever gets the infamous chilli shot might have their night ruined, but it’s all fun and games… right?

Does surprisingly good food during daylight hours for a place that has made its name as Birmingham’s best vodka bar. Definitely pop in during the week and enjoy well cooked, reasonably priced pub grub.

They sell Balkan vodka at revolution, worth going just to try that, it’s 88% vol making it the strongest legally available vodka in the country I believe. One shot with a mixer is similar in flavour and effect to a triple smirnoff. Probably the only bar I would bother with on Broad St, the atmospheres not too bad in spite of the location and there’s an awesome selection of vodkas.

If you’ve ever wondered what your favourite childhood sweets would taste like when distilled into an extremely potent slug of alcohol, wonder no more! At Revolution Vodka Bar, you are offered a selection of flavours that would cause Willy Wonka to hang his head in shame. From cola Cube to milk chocolate, rhubarb and custard to bubblegum, if you like the risky combination of sickly sweetness with legless inebriation, then this may be the bar for you. Novelty booze aside, the place is well-presented and offers a decent range of food and cocktails. Their prices are fairly standard for Broad Street, in other words a little above average, but Revolution has managed to stay strong as its neighbouring units on Broad Street seem to continuously change hands. Whether that’s a testament to strong business practices or just the fact that a lot of people like getting crazy drunk and sugar-high at the same, who can say?

All flavours of vodka that you could think of and the nights they have promotions makes it possible to make even more flavours in the cheap double and mixers. Who would think that black jack, cherry bakewell, and lemonade go so well together. Cocktails and vodka mixers are brilliant. Pitchers are a little overpriced but its a vodka bar.

Really great cocktails but quite pricey. They do use good brands of spirits, liquers and fresh fruit so it’s well worth your money. You can buy trays of differently flavoured shots which are awesome on a night out. The music has always been good when i’ve gone and they have comfy seating although on busy nights places like the upstairs and the bigger sofas are normally reserved for parties.

Never even knew this place existed until a mate of mine introduced us to it and now we live there haha! Its great, busy as you would expect, staff are great and quick which is a good perk! The drinks here are varied and very reasonably priced compared to some of the other places on Broad St. The décor and feel of the place is equally fantastic, you can just walk in, sit down and feel instantly at ease. A very cool bar with cool prices!

Revolution is in between many different bars and clubs on Broad Street, but it stays ahead of its competition by offering a reliably good night out. The décor is quite stylish and there are two levels, with the upstairs level containing lots of seating and overlooking the rest of the club. The drinks are reasonably priced and they serve a wide variety of cocktails and shots. The crowd there is mostly students and young professionals and it’s a great place to go either before going on to another club, or even to have a ‘smaller’ night out.

I love revolution because its very stylishly designed inside and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. Its the kind of place you want to meet with friends and have drinks before you move on to a night club as its location is quite central. They’ve always got drinks offers going on, and they have a wide selection of cocktails.

It’s a Revolution bar! It may be a chain, but it’s a damn decent chain, especially if you are in the mood for vodka… As well as specialising in vodka they have a pretty good range of cocktails. It isn’t cheap, but it’s not super-expensive either. Has cool little booths to sit in and normally has good music.
