this is an excellent restaurant. it is my favourite chinese restaurant. it has traditional rich red chinese décor, and traditional hearty cantonese food. it is very reasonable and i love the red barbeque sauce as an accompaniment to rices and noodles. i really recommend it a lot. i have not been to a nicer chinese restaurant ever, and the service is always excellent.

Offering a diverse selection of Chinese dishes at respectable prices and benefitting from excellent staff and a quick turnaround, this small, local restaurant is wonderfully impressive. I’ve been visiting here occasionally with my family for years and am still yet to have an unsatisfactory experience. The set menu is well priced and the waiters will allow you swap dishes you dislike for anything you fancy at no extra cost, and authentic Asian beers are available on tap.
Inside, there’s an elegant, romantic feel generated by the easy-​listening soundtrack, lush red décor, themed lanterns and meticulously folded napkins. The waiters are all friendly, the turnaround is impressive, and unlike other independent restaurants, the staff don’t try to rush you or give you a set time to vacate your table. Thanks to its great food, intimate set-​up and excellent staff, this local wonder is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever visited in Birmingham.
