Unfortunately I don’t have many positive things to say about Skint. This club used to a great back in the day but now since it went under new management and all their good offers went I think it’s below average since. The maintenance and brand image standards have gone down and now the club is usually dead. The club consists of a front bar that plays electronic, dance and house music etc, the main room that has a stage and plays mainstream music as well as some cheesy classics, a drum and base room and a VIP room that’s almost never open. There’s also a small smoking area and a few booths to chill out in. The toilets are disgusting because once they start getting dirty they aren’t cleaned though-out the night; so it seems. There are some good points though, hurrah! As you may have guessed from the name this place is cheap as the drinks start at one pound fifty. What a bargain right?! The service is good as the bar staff are friendly and chatty. Some even like to dance around the bar! I think the only time Skint actually comes to life is during the Gay Pride festival and even then it’s not too bad. It’s open from 8pm to 4.40 am.
