Reserved with Tastecard but found there was no need as the place was completely empty at 8pm on a Wednesday. Considering we were the only ones there we were sat round the corner and not visible to anyone walking past. I was previously told that my taste card would get us 50% which was perfect as there was 3 of us but on arrival we were told that this offer was changed yesterday and it was now 2−4−1 which made it difficult for the 3 of us. When we ordered drinks, my friend ordered a coke which was quite flat when it arrived and in a pretty small glass. For starters we all ordered spring rolls, my friends ordered vegetarian and I ordered duck. When they arrived they were in a giant bowl and we realised that it included the ducks ones I had ordered. When we doubled checked if they were all the spring rolls we had ordered they said yes and we could distinguish the duck from the vegetable by the duck rolls being bigger. I then hard rummage through the bowl to get my springs rolls. The sushi we ordered was very nice and I really enjoyed the pickled eel. The sushi was very light but full n flavour. The décor tried to look traditional but I didn;t like the fake flowers on the table and my friend thought it was very odd that they had to long tables at normal height that didn’t have any chairs around. Really wanted to try a new sushi restaurant but think I’ll stick to Woktastic as the customer service and atmosphere is far far better

I decided to visit this sushi restaurant after a recommendation. Upon arrival we actually thought the restaurant was closed as the ambience lighting inside made the frontage a bit dark. The glass frontage could also do with a bit of a clean — yes call me fussy! The waitress greeted us and showed us to a table. The choice on the menu is plentiful — spring rolls, tempura, sushi, prawn crackers and bento boxes if you happen to be there at lunch. Between the three of us we ordered two different spring rolls — vegetarian and duck. They arrived steaming hot on the same plate, so we were unable to identify which was which! Once confirmed by the waitress we dived in! They were delicious and the sauce was pretty good too! Next up was sushi which again arrived all on a dish together rather than individual plates — hey ho! I ordered the prawn, avocado and Philadelphia which was again delicious! We were the only ones in the restaurant which was a shame but provided us with a personalised service. I would return again to try the bento boxes! And they have an offer running at the moment for buy 2 dishes get 1 free that’s if you have a tastecard.

I’ve not actually been in, but the menu has a fantastic range. They also deliver!!! Obviously I had to try the delivery. So got on the interweb and ordered a few things. It all arrived very quickly which was impressive. The sushi is beautifully made and not just the standard rolls and nigiri. They do some exciting rolls and hand rolls and gunkan! Some of it looked pre-prepared and my order did end up being a bit pricey though. But it was very tasty and arrived at my house like magic! :-)
