It is a great place to go for many different occasions and i come here for loads and loads of birthday parties as many people find it interesting. The games however could be longer as i belive the time given now is too short.

Its a fairly standard bowling alley but if you time it right they have great deals to make it a cheap night/day out. With it’s location at Star City though, when it’s busy you really notice it and feel rushed by the hubbub of the space. The lanes are surrounded by a sea of arcade games which I find adds to the busy illusion as you have to navigate through their tightly clustered area to get to the toilets, the exit or the bar which feels far away when you’re walking in bowling shoes. It’s a bowling alley that is clean, had lots of balls at the different weights but you still have to have a hunt for them and occasionally ask people if they aren’t using the ones you might be after. I hate the territoriality that accompanies bowling when you’ve been the one to hunt down the right weight balls for the lane next to you to hog them all just before your turn. Sigh, I both love and hate the drama of bowling.

I always consider myself an expert where bowling is concerned. On the way there with my girlfriend or family I suddenly transition into the Mohammad Ali of the Bowling Alley, talking the talk prior to arriving only usually I fail to deliver the walk. It had been a while away from bowling for me, I always have a vivid memory(imagination) of my expertise with the bowling ball in my hand and also how expensive it was to perform my sporting attributes. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to Star City to bowl. Four of us went and it cost less than ten pound per person for two games, that’s less than five pound per person for a game. I spent money on the arcades around the bowling and went up to get myself some fast food in between playing. They have many English and American pool tables to keep you occupied throughout the night. It is often full in here and used by many young customers.
