I ended up in here by random. I was over an hour early for a meeting nearby so I decided to pop in for a drink and a bite to eat. As I was on my own, I felt a bit strange walking in but the handful of people who were already in there were friendly. The guy behind the bar made me feel at home and instantly started chatting away to me. Although I wasn’t in there for long and only ate a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps, it was a good stop off point. The pub is pretty out the way on the back streets of Digbeth but it’s definitely worth popping in for a drink if you’re in that neck of the neighbourhood and passing by.

This is different to what I expected. Also part of the Irish Centre next door, this is a nice and welcoming bar. They have a motto of eat, drink and meet which really sums the place up. They serve hot and cold food, have large big screens to watch the sports on, and also advertise live music.(additional services such as conference facilities, wedding receptions, concerts and celebrations are advertised as well). It’s a nice handy bar which is well stocked, near to central Birmingham. Whether you want to call in during the day, they have a nice lunch menu, or the perfect place to start a night out on.
