Days Inn Hotel London Stansted

Situated at the Welcome Break Service Area, a glorified truck stop just a few miles from Stansted airport, Days Hotel, not to be confused (but since they nearly have identical names, most people probably do) with Day’s Inn Hotel just down the street, is a pretty decent place to stay for a night if you’re catching an early flight the next morning. In fact, the rooms are nicer (and quieter) than I thought they’d be. The staff is very knowledgeable about the airport, which makes sense since the bulk of their clientele is only staying here because of it. They are quick to assist you with setting up a shuttle to the airport. Dining options are limited, there’s a food court at the Welcome Break Service Area, which basically boils down to Burger King or KFC. There is also a deli area with pre-​made sandwiches, salads and such and Coffee Primo, which actually has some pretty decent coffee.
