Rating des Ortes: 4 Sawbridgeworth, United Kingdom
Empire cinemas, Bishop’s Stortford. I suppose this is much the same as any cineplex cinema complex in any town, with 6 or so screens showing a selection of the most popular films, family favourites and not a great deal else. This cinema was originally part of the Cineworld chain, but the monopolies commission ordered them to break the business up and Stortford’s cinema was one of the ones that got thrown out. As a result, we sometimes miss out on some of the bigger chain’s offers, such as the ability to use Nectar points, and other discounts. Popcorn and Cokes etc are the usual over-priced fare, but you can get some meal deals, and all in all it’s fairly typical of the cineplex experience!
