Located in the Thorley area of Bishop’s Stortford, near Sainsbury’s, this good old fashioned chippy has a loyal following of fans, who come for fat chips and piping hot fish!
It’s a nicely spacious shop, so you don’t feel enveloped in a cloud of chip fat when you are waiting to order, the staff are pretty friendly in a chip-​shop way, always trying to get everything done as fast as possible.
They also sell all the usual bits, pickled eggs and saveloys, if that’s your thing, and if you don’t do fish then they sell fresh rotisserie chicken, for a good price.
