Paperchase Bluewater

I love this shop. Everything here is so pretty. Especially the photo frames. I only went in here to get some curling ribbon (seriously NOWHERE else does this, I tried like four other shops and online and nothing, what’s the deal with that) and I still walked away with a couple of frames and a 2014 diary. It’s addictive!
Everything they sell is really good quality too. The wrapping paper is thick and beautifully patterned, the frames are made of either metal or ceramic (no cheap wood here!) and they sell decent sized tote bags, iPhone and iPad cases for about a tenner and the diaries and notebooks are the material covered ones so they’re soft and feel old and comfortable to carry and write in. Couldn’t wish for better.
The thing that sets this particular store out from the others is the customer service. The staff are always chatty, never too busy to check out the back for something and they give me 10% off because I used to work in Bluewater, which is just beyond awesome.

I love Paperchase and everything in it. However, this branch just doesn’t cut it for me. It used to be downstairs and was huge, then they moved it upstairs and really shrunk the space. Where it once had loads of room to walk about and one could decided how much money they could justify spending (for the third time that month!!!), its now really packed with hardly any room to walk. Add a pram in the mix and there’s nowhere to move. So yes I still shop here for cards, but I leave the big Paperchase spending for when I head up town.
