The Village Barbers

It’s a barbers shop so you don’t expect too much in the first place, which probably makes it easier for them to score highly but you still need to core principles to go right. By that I mean a level cut, yes shaving someones hair may not be the most complex thing in the world however many a man (or woman) have messed that up, believe me, and if you don’t believe me, take a look at my hat collection.
Anyway at this particular barber shop, which is dead local to me and literally a 1 minute walk you get a good quality cut. The guys in there are friendly enough and the owner is working every day — which I really like as it puts a face to the business, literally.
Pricing is decent and unless you’re getting something really fancy, you’ll get in and out for £10 with a nice cut. I believe they do all the crazy patterns in your hair for extra money, however I am a little too old for tramlines and have never been chavvy enough to get a sign in the back of my head!
All in all, a good quality, fair priced barber shop!
