It’s good enough kosher food. If you are getting in on the train and call ahead they’ll time your takeaway for you! Not had a bad takeaway yet!

Advertised a £9.992 course menu we thought we’d go on Bank Holiday Monday for a family meal. They reserved a table for us at the back. I’d expected a set menu to(a) have a limited selection of items found on the main menu and(b) portions would be a little smaller(I mean they have a business to run, don’t they?). So we requested the set lunch menu. There were 6 starters to choose from. Tthe waitress explained that we could choose what main dish we wanted(there were 8 options) which could be had in pitta or lafa bread or on its own but with either chips, rice or latke. Then there was the choice of dips from which you could choose four! The chicken soup was a huge bowl, with matzo ball and lokshen(noodles). The main portions were good sizes, as were the sides and dips –we were pleasantly surprised! We had a very nice meal at a very reasonable price. The only downside(which is a small one for most) as my husband is disabled and the restaurant is on a stretch of the Borehamwood High Road where parking is limited, he had quite a walk from the car park. This is a Kosher restaurant, under the supervision of the Sephardi Kashrut Authority. Normally, when my husband and I go out to eat, as we only eat Kosher meat, at ‘normal restaurants like Prezzo or Harvester, we’re stuck with veggie options or fish and chips. So being able to order whatever we wanted from the menu was really nice for us.
