Been a fan of Pizza Express for a while. Not the best place in the world to eat, not the best pizza, but generally a reliable standard of fare, a decent experience, for a fair price.
Sadly, not this time. Pizza OK, nothing special, well mine was OK. My partners was too soggy in the middle so was only half eaten — tip: when you list roasted vegetables, make sure you actually serve roast fresh vegetables not soggy ones. Service also left a lot to be desired. Slow and inattentive. Sure I don’t want to be bothered when I’m eating, however I also don’t want to be kept waiting for long periods with the feeling that I have been forgotten about completely.
Was glad when it was all over.
