I love this pool hall! It was just down the road from my Halls of Residence so used to pop down every week or two for mammoth pool & pints sessions, all the tales are the big american style ones so you can play an array of different games. The best bit about it though was the student tuesday deal where you get half-price pool and £1.50 pints, oh how I miss the student deals. Only downside is it can get very busy in the evenings so you might have to wait fr a table but theres plenty to keep you amused while you wait.

a decent enough pool club where you can pretty much just walk in off the street and play once you have a card. Not dingy like some places, plenty going on, and the place has a buzz about it when all the tables are full. The staff are ok, once or twice they’ve been a little short with me or my friends, but on the whole ok. Food is the usual basic hot dogs and chips menu, nothing fancy, but all you need when sipping a pint with it! look out for really good rates if your a student!

This was a regular haunt for me and my boyfriend when we first got together and we went back this weekend to play a bit of pool. The place very much as you would expect; lots of pool tables and we have never struggled to get one. The atmosphere is nice and they even serve passable food(it is not exactly The Ritz, but I’ve had worse). There are little buttons on the tables so you can get table service. They show football on the big screens when it is on so if you are not keen on that it is best to check.
