This is a really dark dank club which is not somewhere i would go again. Went a couple of times with an uncle and felt like getting a good shower when i came out as it is disgraceful inside. The flooring is all ripped apart and the chairs and tables are falling to pieces. To get to the snooker club part you have to go up a flight of steps first — there is no access for disabled and the stairs are very steep concrete ones. You then have to ring the bell to get into the club and wait and wait until someone comes to let you in — they ask your name and if they dont recognize you you have to show your membership card., yes, you have to be a member and pay subs to come here. Inside there is a small bar which doesnt really stock that much — just limited beers and lagers and spirits and the odd bottle. They usually run out before they have ordered more in too. There is also a kettle on the bar for them who fancy a cuppa but the cups didnt look that clean so wouldnt dare. The interior is very shabby and really cold — i dont think there is any heating on at all. The seating area is very small and then you have a very dark area where the snooker tables are located — this gets really busy as it is quite popular with groups of men who dont care about the interior. It gets very rowdy and ive witnessed a fight there on more than the one occasion, hence, we stopped going as it was getting more and more rowdy. Not that good a place to go.
