Delius Public House

This pub has a very student vibe about it, probably because it’s just opposite both the University and Bradford College.
It’s a comfortable and welcoming place, and often has free gigs on with a variety of different types of music.
I went recently, after not going for about a year or so. I think some of the decoration and furniture could do with an upgrade soon, but it’s reasonably comfortable. It actually has been redone sometime in the past couple of years as it just used to be called ‘Delius’.
Drinks prices are in line with most of the cheap bars around Bradford city centre, with a bottle of cider costing me £3.
It was quite busy, with a nice friendly atmosphere. The location is convenient from the uni or college but it’s a fair walk uphill from the city centre! I quite like the place, but would rather go to a pub in the city centre, I’m not sure it’s worth the walk up that steep hill!

Good beers, friendly staff and decent live music. Highly recommended.
