Baildon craves a smart real ale pub that is modern

This is an old pub that was refurbished about 2years ago and is all the better for the refurbishment. It is now such a busy popular pub with loads of locals and visitors who go just for the real ales. It is famous for having the most real ales in that area, so it can get very busy. It also serves beer/​spirits and soft drinks and a small amount of cocktail kind of drinks.
The pub is in a very popular area in baildon and is lovely to call into a good oldfashioned pub after a day of rambling — to relax infront of the open fire with a nice cold vodka and coke — lovely.
There is a limited food menu at certain times of the day but it isnt always available — when we called in last there was no chef to cook which was a disappointment. They were talking about extending that side of things so that mightve been done now.
The interior is lovely and cozy with an oldfashioned traditional feel.
The staff are very friendly.

probably one of the best pubs in the bradford area.
many seem to agree as well, in the three years that ‘brighton’ bill arnold was at the helm full time it gained numerous CAMRA Pub of The Season awards in addition to no less than two Pub of The Year accolades.
an old fashioned multi room free house with 7 (YES SEVEN) true real ales on at all times.
