Shimlas chicken kebabs are so amazing, last time i visited I phoned a friend in London as I was driving home, she actually cried that I hadn’t got her takeaway and brought it back (yes, Bradford to London!!!)
Biryanis and the Pakora’s are always fab too.
My only disappointment is that dessert is ‘plastic’… I’d much prefer a homemade Gajar Halwa– but i suppose the portions are big, so its rare anyone makes it to desert!
The restaurant is certfied Halal, and no alcohol is served.

This restaurant is located quite close to the University of Bradford (main campus) and it is quite popular with students. They offer very good authentic kebab food, which is the most popular choice. However, if you decide to order curry, it would take longer than usual. They are quite busy even on weekdays and I had to wait 20 mins for takeaway. The items on their menu are quite affordable. Overall, they have good service and the staff are friendly (one of the staff helped me ask where my order was after seeing me wait so long!)
