I was taken here by a group of friends, a place that I’ve never been to or even heard of, this is a kind of Toby car very type place that serves good value food with two meals for £10. At the bar you can buy a bottomless draft soft drink that would be refilled on presentation of your glass. One thing that most places that I go to lack in is properly trained or polite staff, in this place staff would say to enjoy your meal, we had a guy come to check on us several occasions. Food was a 5⁄5 I couldn’t fault these guys, our only issue was that we ordered desserts to go and was given the wrong ones, if it wasn’t for that they would have got a 5⁄5 rating.

I like this place for a quick lunch away from work and also for a wee catch up with Clinic Friends and Collegues with an early dinner. With their two meals for £10.00 the Carvery, Burgers Lasagne and many more, it is great value if you have a pal to share the deal with. On Wednesday I did have a friend to share with I had Roast Turkey and Ham and lots of lovely vegetables a huge Yorkshire Pudding and lots of perfect consistency gravy. My Friend had Barbecue Burger with Coleslaw and Fries she said it was cooked well and was very tasty and great value. The Bar & Waiting staff are all very Friendly and super helpful, one of them even reminded us that as NHS Staff we can get a discount how sweet is that. This may be an English Chain Pub but here in Scotland it gives us tasty food for good value.

English chain style pub concentrating on lowish-cost pub grub. Does what it tries to pretty well, but who’s going to visit here and not come by car? The nearest house is at least 0.5 miles away, which given the new Scottish drink drive laws means they probably have a hard time selling beer. Which is what a pub should be about, not about standard food. Does a job and it’s probably pretty good if you’ve got kids as there’s a nice kids section and a special menu for the«waynes».

This is a Marston’s pub just beside Dobbies at Braehead & very handy if you’re staying at the Campanile Hotel across the road before flying off to some exotic location. It does exactly what you’d expect & serves good pub grub & there’s even a carvery until 8pm. We picked from the 2 meals for £10 which had a good choice, Inc steak, and although it was busy service was swift. The place is clean and they’ve both indoor & outdoor children’s play areas as well as several outdoor areas for eating. It was clean and worth a visit if you don’t fancy eating in Braehead.
