It’s only OK, not very good for an Italian place. I ordered Pasta Arrabiata for lunch and it came out really quickly so I knew the sauce was precooked and heated rather than made to order which would be fine if the price reflected the quality, but it didn’t. I also wonder when it had been made because my friend and I got there around midday and there were no other customers as yet.

We went to La Rosetta on Valentine’s evening. They were doing a brisk trade, but still had room for us. Free olives, liberally doused in garlic were very welcome. Also little breadsticks and bread(white and brown.) For starters we had minestrone soup and snails. Snails! In Brentford! They were great. You got all the snail paraphernalia too. Mains we both had veal. It came with veg and potatoes. Quite thin but maybe that’s what veal is meant to be like. Overall very much pro-La Rosetta. Very La PROsetta.

I’ve just been to this restaurant for the first time today for my Landlords birthday. I must say I was positively surprised to find a real Italian restaurant in London. So far all the Italian places still had quite a lot of English influence(fries as a side) but this place is amazing! The owner is a lovely older Italian guy who knows how to treat the guests right. The olives you get without asking are so tasty that you just can’t stop snacking and the bread is real bread!(I really miss it as I am from Switzerland) The pollo principessa is really yummee and the zapaione was alright. My friend had banana flambé which I’d recommend! I tried some and it tasted like heaven!

We were greeted by friendly staff and seated on the more formal side of the restaurant which turned out to be a good decision on our part. The food was excellent and all the added touches e.g., breadsticks, olives and bread made it even more special. We enjoyed it so much that during our one week holiday in London ended up eating there twice! The owner came over and spoke to us which added to our visit. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Homely Italian Restaurant in Brentford, with a genuine rustic approach to food. The proprietor circles the tables like a friendly dolphin, chatting with regulars and guests alike. He even treated us to a free marinated seabass starter! In good weather the front doors are opened wide and tables spread outside. The experience is shielded from the concrete jungle outside by the plentiful use of pot plants. Had pizza on the piazza in the sunshine. Very nice.
