This is your typical Toby car very experience — extremely busy and there is no booking system so if you are willing to wait it’s ok. Price is 9.49 for a carvery and you can only go up once. They do offer alternatives which are like your average pubs meals but do make some lovely deserts! We tried the lemon meringue and shares between 3! They also offer refillable drinks which are useful if you have children. They have an outside space which is useful when it gets busy in the waiting area. Today as the wait was so long we ate at the bar area no table service

If you dont mind a bit of a wait on a sunday, the food is great. It is a carvery but the meat was tender, the yorkshire puddings huge and nice veg. and not expensive £16 for the 2 of us

This a part of the Toby Carvery chain & offers a carvery meal every day of the week. The food is really nice and the price is good too. You can choose which meat you like & then help yourself to all the veg you like — Fill yer boots! You can stock up on the veg & sides as often as you like & it is included in the price.
On a sunday, be prepared to wait a while for a table & once you get seated, you will have another wait in the queue for the food. It is worth the wait though!
