This is easily one of my favorite B&B’s in the UK. I’m looking forward to returning to Brighton just to enjoy this cozy, charming, perfectly appointed little home at the seaside again. I had a single room with a balcony and it was lovely. It was decorated with contemporary yet casually beautiful furnishings and the high ceilings and french door to the balcony really made the room’s character extra special. The art in my room and also throughout the B&B was spectacular and highlighted local artists. Service was warm and friendly and the food was delicious, very fresh and high quality. And there were always individual size cakes or other pastries at the entrance for visitors to enjoy. Perfect location on the square. I walked to all the sights and many restaurants with ease. I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to visit again.

I really loved this little place — friendly staff & perfect accommodations. My room was small, but it’s exactly what I needed at the time for just me. Had my husband not left for Spain on business, we would have opted for one of the bigger rooms(Room 35 is very nice). The prices on all of the rooms are very reasonable, and some rooms(including my little cubby) have balconies that look out onto Regency Square & the ocean. They thoughtfully provided me with a hot water bottle, which I found really divine as the temps dropped in the evening but not so much that I wanted to crank the radiator up — I’ll definitely be acquiring one of these stateside as it’s really a comforting little touch! Everything was spotlessly clean, great water pressure, the bed was super comfy, and the down pillows made for an amazingly lovely sleep! Breakfast is organic and locally sourced, and I tried to capture the sheer variety of options they make available in my pix — it’s really a beautiful spread that’s quite enjoyable. The guys who run the inn are super helpful, too & very pleasant! All the little touches really add up, including a basket of charging cords for guests who might have lost or forgotten theirs, homemade afternoon snacks, and nice quality bath products that are environmentally friendly with no wasteful packaging. I would have opted to stay longer, but to my disappointment they were closing the inn on the day I checked out so they could have the boiler replaced. No worries, I will definitely seek out Brighton House Hotel when I’m back in Brighton next — it was one of the very pleasant highlights of my time there this week!

I took my wife to Brighton for a romantic weekend, celebrating our 5th anniversary in October. Although the weather was not ideal, Brighton House was a delightful place to stay — right in the middle of the city centre and with very fairly priced car parking just round the corner from the hotel, in Regency Mews. Although I am often in Brighton on business, I do not know the nightlife well, so it was very handy to be so near it all — especially because of the heavy rain and wind. Our«superior» room was luxurious and spacious with a super-sized bed, huge bay window and balcony overlooking Regency Square and the sea. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with special little touches to indulge us. The fresh, healthy breakfast buffet was delicious — we tried both the smoked salmon and tasty«free range» ham, with all the available trimmings. All-in-all, Brighton House provided us with a luxurious and relaxing retreat, despite being in central Brighton! A great value bed & breakfast, with charming staff that really helped make our anniversary memorable.

The Brighton House is a lovely B&B right in the heart of Brighton. Its location is perfect, with a view of the sea and the old West Pier. We spent three nights here and splurged on one of the larger rooms with a 4-poster bed. However, we actually saw one of the standard rooms because they gave us the wrong key by accident, and I can say that those rooms looked very nice as well. It’s well maintained, although in places a bit worn around the edges(our bathroom, and specifically the shower curtain, could have used a bit of a face-lift), but it’s otherwise very charming and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious– but not a typical cooked English. It’s a continental buffet, and almost all of the food is organic and locally sourced. Little treats of homemade bread and yogurt graced the tables, along with fruit, cereals, cheeses and meats. Delicious. Finally, the place has a very friendly resident cat, Mr. Watts, who was the icing on the cake for this cat-lover. A great place to stay!

Charming B&B in lovely, quiet Regency Square right across street from beach and West Pier. Very reasonable prices. Good location if you want to be within walking distance of shops and sights but out of hustly-bustly centre. Also very close to Brighton Centre where most concerts take place and Regency Tavern, a great pub with wacky décor, is right around the corner. . I stayed in single room at top of hotel. Room was small but very clean with nice roomy, comfy bed, TV, coffee-tea making facility and nice en-suite bathroom. Please note that there are LOTS of narrow stairs to climb if you are staying on 3rd-4th floors. Of course, staff forewarns customers upon booking and on website as well. Larger rooms are very nicely decorated in modern country style and more luxurious. Good breakfast in bright, quaint front room. Staff is very efficient and ready to help out when needed.
