coming from a middle eastern background, i can assure you that the food here is authentic! the hospitality represent the essence of the culture, which make me come back again and again whenever i miss my origin, which a lot can agree with me on this one. the prices here are reasonable compared to the local restaurants in the same cuisine. however, i didn’t enjoy hoe noisy it can be, although i did ask them to turn down the volume and they did. it is good for groups, families and dating i guess! one observation though about the lamb cubes, i didn’t enjoy the flavour nor the smell of it. but the chicken was juicy and favourable. the rice was greasy, and mahshi as well. i don’t recommend it if you’re watching your figure! note: they don’t serve alcohol, bring yours with you. toilet is on the second flood, it wont suit you if you’re having a physical disability or challenges :-)

I have shawarmas from this place all the time and they are absolutely amazing! However, i wish the shawarma was bigger so i didn’t have to buy 2 to fill my appetite.

This is a good quality/price Lebanese restaurant: main around 10£ and starter around 4£. Food is not outstanding but decent and tasty enough for the price. Service is nice and fast. The main room is clean but very noisy when the place is more than half full. Attention ! No alcohol on the menu. But you can bring your own bottle of wine…

I’ve been visiting Kambis for a few years and will continue to go back. Lebanese food ranks pretty high for me, and Kambis dishes it up fast and simple. No frills and a reasonable price, the mezze menu also has plenty of vegan options(the staff are very knowledgeable about veganism). My suggestion would be to get the platter or a selection of 4 – 5 mezze dishes(the kashk badomjan is outstanding). There are some vegan mains too, but I’m not as keen on what I’ve tried off that menu.
