This really isn’t fair. I need a new pair of dress shoes. The tips of my current dress shoes have faded out. This is because I don’t lift my feet high enough when I walk, and end up tripping over my own feet. This constant tripping has faded the color of my dress shoes, and no amount of shoe polish can restore my shoes to their original luster. There are some tremendous shoes here, but they are rather pricey. A pair of Accona’s for £200.00 or Manitou’s for £140.00? That being said, they have a wide selection, and you can find some shoes for £90.00. If you need a quality shoe and have money to spend, Kurt Geiger is the place to go.

Damn it all! I wish I’d never realised this place sold mens shoes… When you think your just walking past a bunch of heels and boots, you think there’s nothing to look up for. But then I had to go and look more closely while waiting for a bus… My thought process ran along the lines of «those shoes are rather manly for women…» then the next time I was in town, temptation struck and I was propelled over the threshold, my ability to resist tempered by shiny shiny leather and soft suede. Now, there are some undoubtedly unreasonable prices here. The day I pay £90 for a shoe, and another £90 for the other is officially when I have too much money(or when space boots are made), but not everything here is going to break the bank. Maybe strain it, but not break it. There’s a good range of items that come in under the £50 mark, and look damn handsome too. These are the ones I fear most… The shoes I can convince myself I could afford. On the ladies front, this place is perhaps even more dangerous, as the the designs are even more tempting… From the casual eye of a fairly naïve bloke, I can see how many of my female friends would be more likely to swoon at some of the stock here than they would at that popular chap from the New Moon films. And the nail in the coffin of leaving without evoking the wrath of bank managers and loan sharks is two simple words. Matching. Handbags. You stand warned! I’m off to crack open the piggy bank and count my pennies.

I wish the window in the Kurt Geiger store wasn’t so freaking big and handsome! There are so many pairs of shoes I’d love to own from here, but just can’t bring myself to buy(mainly due to more pressing ways to spend my money like food and rent) but that window display just acts like a gateway into some sort of shoe-y Garden of Eden where temptation lies around every corner. If you are male or female and out for a delightful pair of shoes then check out KG. The range is vast and the products extremely well made, just beware of the price tags, as some of these bad boys will set you back a pretty penny!

Oh Kurt Geiger. You know how to make a girl swoon. Last season it was all about the black suede Amy boots — that cost a shocking £350 — and the bronze Lizzy baseball boots. This season, it’s all about blue suede Carvela Swipe three quarters boots and the grey Skittle boots. At £320 for the duo they are way over my budget. But oh, I can dream…
