My most favourite, and luckily most local Chinese takeaway. Lee’s Garden has their oriental tastes down to an art. If you’re not in for a large meal, the starters menu is full of great light snacks. Vegetable Spring Rolls cannot be beaten! And they’re the best I’ve had in and around the Lewes Road area. If however you are in for a more substantial dish and want something a little different, then the Special Chop Suey is a delight and I’ll leave the surprise for you to discover. I know it’s a little cheeky considering my geographical location, but I can vouch for a speedy delivery time.

I didn’t particularly enjoy my Lee’s Garden experience. The rice tasted microwaved, and the chicken dish I ordered was supposed to be covered in a spicy sauce, but instead just appeared to be coated in some sort of red food dye. Perhaps I was simply ‘unlucky’, but I don’t think I’ll be trying Lee’s again.
