The food is always very consistent here. I usually order the Tikka Masala which is always very good. I have never known anyone to be unhappy with their meals when dining here. Depending on the waiter, the service can be great or not so great. There are a couple waiters there who are always miserable. There is one, I wish I could remember his name, but he is great, so fast and attentive.

Awful Frozen Microwaved food. I Quote the waiter your fish starter will be late by 10 minutes, it is being cooked from Frozen. I said i didnt want frozen food, he said no no, its not frozen, it just comes from the Freezer. HONESTLY! The starters were all poor, watrey rubbish, the chicken was so so dry i’d hate to think how old it was, the popadoms were definatly the best part of the ‘meal’ but the chutneys were Awful! All the rice we had was Microwaved and also watery therefore. Curry sauce like no other i have ever tasted. AWFULFOOD! Avoid if you have a palate!

One of my favourite places in Brighton to visit is the Marina, to the east of the city and it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat and there’s free parking too which is a rarity in the city. Memories of India is one of several excellent restaurants you can find down at the Brighton Marina. Excellent food, modern ambience and good service I recommend the place. They also do delivery takeaway service.

As most places on the Marina this Indian is a bit over priced and in my opinion a little souless. The lighting is dim and has a feel of what an Indian restaurant ‘should be like’. The food is tasty, they don’t experiment much so nothing stands out too much and is a bit overpriced(probably to pay for the location). I’ve been left indifferent by the whole experince!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It’s in a splendid location overlooking the marina. It’s very spacious, with bright and modern interior, there’s something very authentic about having indian cuisine here. The waiter service wasn’t brilliant, they were very professional, not overly friendly and a little slow, but don’t let this put you off — I went here for Valentines day so it was a very busy night for them. The food itself was very tasty and plentiful, not as delicious as some Indian restautants that I’ve been to, however, I’d still say it was one of the top 5. The prices weren’t dead cheap but they were reasonable and not overly above average. Overall it has a very pleasant and calming atmosphere and if you want a good location and feel like Indian food, this is a lovely restaurant to spend the evening dining in.

Standard menu, could have been downloaded from the Internet. An empty restaurant with no atmosphere. I love hot spicy food but they lace everything which is meant to be slightly hot with LOTS of chilli. The Kingfisher beer was very good however which helped me award 2 stars.

This is unique Indian dining experience as instead of a traditional dimly lite restaurant decorated in reds and golds, memories of India has a fresh minimalist décor with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the marina. Although I could actually sea any water from my sea it was a refreshing experience. The food is great and the menu offers all sorts of vege dishes along wit usual curries and biriarnies. I would say its worth missioning to the mariner especially for but if your in the area then its worth a shout.

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and she loved it. Gorgeous location, on the Marina. Really nice Indian food however a little expensive. However I think it’s worth the money.
