Bella has been around a while, but the company has refreshed its menus and is offering various vouchers to help it stay competitive.
This branch in Cabot Circus offers a nice getaway from shopping and has a good range of food and drinks. We tried the pizzas, which were full of flavour and reasonably priced. They were very dry at the edges, but if you ask for garlic oil, you can get around this. Peroni is a little on the expensive side at nearly £4 a bottle.
Tables are very small and people are packed in fairly tightly, though I’ve seen much worse in other restaurants. Our voucher on the night was to have 25% off the total cost of food, which was a lovely bonus. We didn’t buy dessert, but there seemed to be a lot to choose from.

Yet another chain Italian restaurant in Bristol, and not too dissimilar from the rest! However, being fairly new, this one is pretty modern and has a very fresh interior. The main point I want to make is that Bella Italia have followed suit to others like ASK and Pizza Express in terms of offering buy one grt on free meal deals, or 50% off your food bill. These offers are not always on however, but it is worth keeping an eye out and checking online — because when they are available, they are definitely worth taking advantage of!
I would also add that this branch of Bella Italia can get very busy, so if you do want to visit then it might be worth booking ahead — especially on a Friday or Saturday night. I think its popularity is largely due to it’s location at the top of Cabot Circus, tired shoppers are easy targets for customers!

Bella Italia is a chain Italian which doesn’t actually feel like a chain. The food is great quality and really tasty. The food feels fresh and not like it has come straight out of the microwave. Their roast chicken and veg ciabatta with fries is scrumptious! really juicy and filling.
This Bella Italia is quite hard to find — it’s at the top of Cabot Circus with the other restaurants but tucked away at the side. The menu is broad and the prices are very reasonable. You could easily enjoy a meal and a drink for under £10.
