Clack Mill Riding Stables

I have been going to clack mill for 8 years now and i love it, i have made great friends, i love all the horses there. Bonnie is sometimes strict but she only does it for our safety, others safety and the horses/​ponies. I help out on saturdays and have done since i was 7, (i am now 13.) I have learnt so much there and because my parents can’t afford to buy me a horse and pay for all the stuff you need, it is like you have your own horse. I highly recommend this too anybody who has a love for horses, she takes any ages.

I have been riding at Clack Mill Riding Stables for 15 years now, it is a great place to ride and learn how to care for horses and ponies. They do small group lessons so you get a lot attention to help you learn how to ride correctly. I would strongly recommend this stables to anyone who would like to learn to ride.

I have been riding here for about 2 – 2 ½ years with my mum and it is AMAZING. All the ponies are always groomed nicely and all are amazing to ride. Bonnie and Jordan, the instructors, are always friendly and are willing to help you if you need it. There is always a range of things to do if you ask. I understand that some people may find Bonnie harsh and rude at times but she is only like it because she wants to make sure you are riding safely-​she is a really nice person if you get to know her. All the ponies go really well if you get them up together. I highly recommend the stables.

Brilliant place to ride, have a range of ponies to suit all age, size and ability. Instructors very friendly and professional. I have been riding for 3 years at clackmill and have been enjoying myself very much. there is an indoor and outdoor school for all weather conditions. the stables is surrounded by fabulous scenery. there is also a huge field and Tyre jumps which is a small part of every lesson. ponies in fantastic condition and well tempered. AMAZING! Ive been going to this stables for about 8 – 9 years and its brilliant! All the ponies are well cared for and are great to ride. The owner Bonnie can be strict at times but its just to get you to be the best you can be and it is also for yours and the horses safety. Its a great experience and i love to go every sunday. Its great for begginers and experienced riders both! The price is good and i find that at the end of every lesson i have a smile on my face:)
People might think that the horses are ‘plodders’ as i have read on one previous comment but thats harsh as they are well looked after and are happy and friendly, and it all depends on how well you get them up together in the ride. I would highly recommend this stables for anyone, because it has helped me progress through the years and become a better horsewoman. Bonnie and Jordan are very friendly despite what people may say and i have had goods rides with them both. Every week i find myself learning something new and interesting. I never get tired of the lessons because i love horses so much and practise makes perfect. My favourite things to do in the lessons are:
–jumping
–bareback
–canters
–no stirrups
and i like to ask bonnie to have hard rides as i like a challenge
I love this stables and ive made lots of friends, horses included, if people dont like it here then thats there choice but i wouldnt go to any others stables. Amazing!
