New store giving a rev to the engine of Longwell Green retail park — well, maybe it needs a bit more fire. Opened in spring 2009, this has yet to find its feet, with an average stock of clothes (they have Per Una but not the Limited Collection) spread out sparsely over two floors. The Food Hall, which is well stocked though, and they have a reasonable amount of floor space for xmas this year.
The staff perhaps could do with a bit more encouragement — an elderly lady fell down by the stairs and I overheard a young staff member upstairs saying that she didn’t want to go down as the first aider because of the paperwork!
