Solid little Indian restaurant and take away at the very end of Staple Hill — almost at Page Park. They do all the usual dishes with some unusual speciallities (Tiger by the River is very nice), the quality is consistent and service always polite and friendly. We use this for take away and occasionally as a restaurant — you can call and pick it up in 20 minutes. It gets pretty busy at the weekends as it is a local’s favourite and has a lively atmosphere. Prices are very good, £6−8 for a main course and they aren’t stingy with the portions.
There are a couple of Indian restaurants here quite close together — make sure you get the right one!
