Apparently they boast a wide range of Asian styles and to be fair they probably could. The menu to me looks like any other Chinese restaurant but who’s to say what is in what style? It does seem a little like it’s trying to dress itself up a bit more than it is, but then a bit of exaggeration never hurt anyone. The food’s pretty standard nosh; some good classics like the Honk Kong style range or the Prawn Toast all fairly impressive. None of it has yet blown me out the water but equally none of it has bruised my wallet too much. It’s a standard Chinese takeaway but don’t expect too much.

Taste of China has an impressive variety of Eastern food, more so than most takeaways in the area. I wouldn’t really say it was a taste of china, more a taste of Fishponds attempting to cook with an Asian Flare. It’s not bad food, but it’s nothing to write home about either. Pretty average to my taste buds. Prices aren’t bad though so if you are in the area and desperately need some Chow Mien, then it’s worth a shout. But don’t take a trip especially out here, it’s probably not worth it.

Cantonese, Peking and Thai styles… well that’s what it says on the outside anyway! To be honest I wasn’t to sure myself, it was as if someone was trying to fancy up a chinese take away… but then that is probably because of my little knowledge of eastern foods. I am told it is good for those veggies out thier who are still after the meat texture and similar taste with their vegetarian food, something to do with the gluten???
