Jamie Oliver may very well do his shopping at Sainsbury’s but for the cheeky-chappy traditional Somerset vibe this Co Op is doing rather well. Everything is notably rustic and country-market looking — be it the apples in baskets or arrangements of eggs and straw. The meat(all British), the crisps, the beer all look so homely and enjoyable. It all makes me think of The Six Nations, a lunchtime beer with my dad and the cricket. I can’t put my finger on how it does it but this Co Op makes me feel very comfortable, if a little nostalgic.
