I really like this place, my grandpa is 87 and goes here every week! They are really kind to him and help him to his table, making his tea just the way he likes it… it’s a good non greasy-greasy spoon. They have breakfasts, jackets, salads, roast dinners — everything! Prices range from a couple of quid to about £8 and the portions are generous, parking is easy with lots of side roads with free parking, local pubs and a park around the corner. I can personally recommend the fried egg and cheese bap at yum yums– don’t judge me… just try it’s a wierd combo but just trust me… soooo good! It’s a great place on a sunday, go for a brekkie, read the paper and stroll along gloucester road afterwards. it’s non pretentious and just humble simple food served by down to earth staff… the last review i see was from 2010… it’s been hugely refurbished since then and is simple but fresh. If you want simple, belly warming comfort food… give it a try :) Yummy yum yums

Yum Yums is okay, not particularly yummy but is as appetising as a McDonalds. I wasn’t a big fan but if you really have a craving for junk food and KFC or Burger King is too far out of reach, then I would suggest Yum Yums is the perfect alternative. You can eat-in or takeaway and the prices are decent — you can get a burger, chips and a drink for only £3.60 which is a bit cheaper than McDonalds and the like. The food isn’t anything special but you get what you pay for.
