Whenever I am feeling particularly crud I tend to buy myself a big old booster from here. My favourite is the carrot, apple and ginger which they make in front of you in one of those amazing orange crushing machines where the oranges go down a tube and come out as juice. It reminds me of the TV programme Bertha(lovely Bertha) about the big robot thing when I was a child. Awesome. They also do some great smoothies and offer extra shots of ginseng, vitamin C, echinacia and all that jazz. You can pretty much tailor make the juice you want and there are various sizes. Great for days when a head cold is descending or you are feeling guilty about the last night’s excesses.

Fruitsticks is such a good idea. Kids think that its a unhealthy sugary ice lolly, but in fact it’s probably the most healthy thing they will eat all day. And best of all they taste amazing. They also do your standard smoothies, but by far the best thing are the frozen fruitsticks. It is a little expensive, but they are more than willing to personalise your smoothie with any combination you desire if you want. I can’t understand why there isn’t more Fruitsticks around as I always walk past and there is a queue… Dragons Den here I come…

This a particularly fine secret gem lying within the neon hell that is the Galleries. Yes, despite near enough all of the other eateries in this place being an act of desperation, this one is worth braving everything. Yes, if you fancy an instant vitamin shot in the arm that also tastes so yummy that you wonder why you ever bother with coca cola or any of the so-called vegetable extract drinks. My favourite is the simple banana and honey smoothy, but they will literally make up any combination of fruit and vegetables that takes your fantasy, blend it expertly with loads of ice to keep it refreshingly cool and make your day. Yes, let’s just say I’m a massive fan.
