Buckingham Tandoori Indian Takeaway

This takeaway does not even deserve the one star that I have rated it. It truly is an awful experience as a whole.
The experience on my first and last visit to Buckingham Tandoori has been a disappointing one. I start by ordering Mutter Paneer assuming that it would actually be Mutter Paneer. The reason I was led to this conclusion was the fact that on the front page of their menu it says they are an Authentic Indian Cuisine.
The food arrived within minutes, which was surprising as normally a dish like this would take 15 – 20 minutes. When I got it home I found that the Paneer was just normal cheese which had become lumpy and rubber like. Glued to this was the pea’s, which had still not defrosted and were extremely cold at the core. The sauce was just a tomato purée with a few tomatoes cut up sparingly. Not a good start!
When I called to complain about the standard of the food I had been served and the fact that the Paneer is not even Paneer, I was told that it was their way of cooking it. I’ve travelled far and wide, and never before have I seen normal cheese used as a substitute for Paneer. I explained that a technique is a different method of cooking without changing the core ingredients. He then asked me was I wanted him to do obviously I said I wanted the Mutter Paneer that I had originally ordered or my money back. He could not have been less interested in this issue despite there being no one else in his takeaway store he did not even apologize and refused to do anything about it which is not an approach I would have taken.
This is definitely the worst takeaway I have been to. It seemed that they did not know what customer service meant.

This Indian provides only takeaways and specialises in delivering perfect and delicious Indian food every time. The service is excellent and the food is consistently good. From their response when answering the phone to delivery of the food I have never been disappointed. When using their delivery service via Dial-​a-​Curry I have never had to wait more than 45 minutes even on a busy Saturday night.
