Just another Barclays Branch you may say but in fact it is a somewhat nicer experience here. Situated at the bottom end of the High Street, the branch has staff who actually seem to care and know the vast majority of customers using the branch which is a surprise as Buntingford isn’t some tiny backwater village. They are always helpful and on numerous occasions have verified my identity over the phone with work colleagues who bank there which would never happen in a larger branch where I’d just be another number I presume. They are also very well informed and try to help even with things that are out of their domain such as internet banking which I’m always having trouble with. So a big thumbs up and good work for all in the branch, if only there were more like them.
