A nice pizza restaurant this. Consistently prepared starters and thin crust pizzas and we particularly like the smaller pizza with salad in the middle for a lighter option. Definitely child friendly with colouring and activity books and a good childrens menu — certainly my daughter’s choice for pizza. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and having visited several times over the last year we will soon go back again. A real bonus is Pizza Express take Tesco vouchers which offsets the prices, which are on the high side — and is the reason this doesn’t get 5 stars.

One of my favourite places to eat in Bury St Edmunds, both for lunch and for supper. A large variety of pizzas, pastas and salads and a good range of wine, beer or soft drinks. For a pizza franchise the prices are on the high side, but they are always doing a 2 mains for the price of 1 on the backs of cinema tickets from Cineworld! Staff are friendly and don’t mind if you ask them to get you little extras like more pesto or chilli oil. Do try their Etna pizza if you like a bit of fire in your meal.
