The University of Derby’s campus located in Buxton, commonly known as The Dome, is a fantastic building to facilitate a university. It provides courses within most vocational areas such as hospitality and hairdressing, and has got its own hairdressing salon, fully commercial spa and a fine dining restaurant. The tutors are friendly and supportive and very willing to help out with any academic or personal issues. They are all easy to approach and will gladly see you for a coffee in the university bistro to talk about your assignments!

I’m currently doing my Masters and I must confess that I’m really satisfied with the ‘product’ they offer. Especially, in my course(tourism) there are just two students and therefore we get full attention of our tutors, which makes the university very personal. When I have any inquiries they help me or give advice. The most of the tutors are also very good and open-minded lecturers and deliver appropriate content with loads of enthusiasm. However, the university gets just four stars because not everything and all of them is/are perfect.
