Creative in Callander

Creative in Callander is a fantastic shop! If you are looking for a beautifully crafted gift or something special for yourself, you will have a more than adequate choice here.
It’s a not for profit venture, where local artists and crafters can sell their wares. Honestly, there are such gorgeous things here. Apparently it showcases the work of about 40 local artists and crafters, many of whom help in running the shop.
There are pictures and photographs, many different wooden items, knitted and felted goods, jewellery, glassware, cushions and lots of other fine things for your home.
I can’t tell you what I bought, as it’s a present that hasn’t been gifted yet, but it was something very, very, cute, and my friend will probably cry when she sees it.
The only thing that’s a bit peculiar is the shop sign — it looks like it’s made from forks or something, and it’s difficult to read what it actually says. It says Creative in Callander. But don’t let that put you off! I’d highly recommend going in. I am NOT a shopper, I really take no pleasure in it, but I could easily fill my boots and buy everything in this shop. My home would be a beautiful, woolen, tartan paradise.
