The problem with this place is that it is inconsistent. I have taken away a lovely meal one day and the next day (this really happened) I got almost raw chips! It would also be nice if they actually flavoured their chow mein. Unflavoured noodles yuk.

Calne isn’t blessed with many good takeouts. This is one of the better ones, but it still isn’t great. I have tried it on a couple of occasions. I have only had the veggie food but it wasn’t great. A poor selection of vegetables that lacked crunch and soggy chips. On the plus side the rice was good. It is clean and you can see the chefs cooking the food.

This is probably one of the best chinese takeaways in Calne. The staff are friendly and helpful and you can watch your food being cooked (which passes the time as you wait for your order). The food is really nice and the portions are generous. It’s a shame they don’t deliver but the food is tasty enough so you don’t really begrudge having to collect it.
