We stopped here on our way back to London from Stonehenge. My husband used to live in the area and remembered about this great Indian food restaurant. We found it with a little help from Unilocal! This place was fantastic! We had a group of 6 and went on a Thursday around 6pm. We were seated immediately and service was perfect. At least 4 or 5 servers attended to us. We ordered a large variety of dishes. Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tawa, Tandoori Chicken, Sag Aloo, Vegetable kofta, and Kebab. Everything was fantastic. They catered to our level of a spice request and did it perfectly. My husband did the«chef’s challenge» and completed it and received a free dessert. My sister has many dietary restrictions and they made something special for her that met all her requirements. We would return here again and if we lived here, we would be regulars! FANTASTIC! WELLDONE Chilli Spice!

Tried this place for dinner on a weekday based on some good reviews. It wasn’t busy when we arrived around 6 pm. The service was very attentive as there were about 4 who came to help us. We ordered two mains — a citrusy chicken dish(‘Shatkora chicken’) and a Lamb & Spinach Balti plus side orders of bombay aloo and Dahl with some poppadoms to start. Both were not spicy at all(we like a bit of a kick) but still tasty — the lamb was very tender! I didn’t particularly like the dahl as I prefer more garlicy and less creamy — you could definitely taste the ghee. Prices were very reasonable compared to Indian restaurants and takeaways in Edinburgh — around £7−10 for most dishes. It became more crowded with groups near the end of the night so overall seems a great option if your hankering for Indian and in the area!
