I got a roasted beetroot salad w a mojito mocktail, and it was an amazing meal. The salad was very flavourful and well-balanced. Nice service and atmosphere.

We had a very good meal and pleasant service here. My husband found the risotto too bland, but my 12-year-old son gobbled up the lamb special. I had a beet salad and squash ravioli that were both delicious. Prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area, although I’m suffering from sticker shock as everything in GB Is costly if you’re bringing dollars to the table.

I don’t know how it was in the past, but I wouldn’t go back again.

Thought we’d try this on one of our buying trips to Cambridge. Three of us were pleasantly greeted and seated in the rather bright but dated main restaurant. It all seemed a bit forced and unimaginative, dreadful art work too. A new waiter was in training, unfortunately being tutored and educated by a rather over zealous more experienced waitress. I have worked in the restaurant and hotel trade as part of my job and have never seen paying customers being used as training dummies, especially without being asked first. The food was very, very bland; baby squid, with peppers linguine(a special) consisted of overboiled small slices of red and yellow sweet peppers a slightly overcooked linguine with some baby squid thrown in, it was very bland indeed, tasting slightly of salt but precious little else. The meatball dish was a similar non-event, nothing like the Italian dish it professed to be. Chicken and beans was basically the third dish, bland and uninspiring. All in all we were sheltered from a torrential summer downpour and ate totally unmemorable food, but the staff seemed helpful and pleasant, even if they were busy schooling new waiters.

Lovely Italian restaurant that I can highly recommend. The place was very busy and had an excellent atmosphere and the food was marvellous. Service was good but could have been a wee bit sharper, but that is being hyper critical. Try it… it really is very good.

Just on the outskirts of Cambridge central city shopping area. I have heard good reviews on this place. We went early about 6pm on a Wednesday evening and it was already half full. A trendy restaurant bu the ‘trendy’ rustic tiled floor meant we had a wonky table but the waitress was quick to spot this and resolved with a folded napkin! Waitress very knowledgeable on both food and wine. The have a open kitchen which I think is always nice and you can watch as they prepare your food. The service was quick. The starter of prawns were delicious and the duck main was satisfactory. No room for a pudding! Quite expensive but the meal was good quality. Though I have never been I understand they do a monthly supper club — I think it’s on a Friday. This sounded good fun — you go for a meal and then later inthe evening the tables are cleared and disco starts with time for drinking and dancing. A night I intend to try out soon so will update you when I have been.

Liked the food here, cant remember what i had(must have been their gorgeous cocktails they served!) but i know i lloved it! Great little restaurant, serving italian/english food. I wasn’t paying for this meal so i think i had all the courses, fish was great, would recommend this place as the food is good quality if a bit expensive, but somewhere for a special occasion!

A great fusion of italian and british cuisines with not one pizza in sight. The menu wasnt huge but there was a good choice and the starters were fantastic. There’s a really good wine list too. On a saturday night there is piano player which adds a nice atmosphere you can relax after your meal with a nice cocktail. Downstairs is a nicer place to dine than the overflow room upstairs, the service though where ever you sit is very good and cant be faulted. I like the fact that its isnt slapbang in the the centre of town as you get a different crowd and more of a loyal customer that returns because they love the food and the service. Well worth a try, you wont regret it.

DeLuca is a stylish bar/restaurant with a great vibe and first rate food. As you would expect, the antipasti platter is a winner, but so are their pasta and risotto dishes. It’s not particularly cheap, but it’s also not the most expensive place in town. Service is superb and the staff and management are friendly and fun. It’s a great night out.

The best word to describe this classy restaurant is a fusion of Italian and British cuisine. Located just on the busy Regent Street is this nicely built restaurant. The environment is the strongest point of De Luca. The interior design of the back room dining room is just phenomenal, Good light tone, cool music vibe and glass roof. The front room bar offers the best quality drink my friend has had in a long time; cocktails to tantalise your tongue and the fun part is choosing your drink from an exclusive list. Free wireless internet access is a bonus, so you can check your mails while filling a hungry stomach with an affordable lunch and I don’t mean sandwich. Sandwiches are ok, but something more like home made soup, crispy squid with sweet chilli rockets and crostinis of the day. I don’t do starter so I usually go for the main meal, but they have a range of appetising starters such as marinated olives, steamed mussels, whole grilled prawn. Now let’s get to the nitty gritty and that is the main meal, mmmwhere can I start from? Yeah sirloin beef, chicken, wild mushroom, roasted butternut squash, sea bass fillet, pancetta salad, Italian roast potatoes ooohhh the list goes on and on If you are lost for choice, then I highly recommend the roasted barbary duck breast served with Italian sweet potato & mange tout with a red wine sauce(£14.95). My favourite part of the meal ‘guess what it is?’ yeah you’re right DESERT. A plate of vanilla panna cotta with roasted strawberry seals the deal for me. Before I forget just want to add that those who prefer the traditional English meal have a choice of Roast, but served mainly on Sundays and the vegetarian options are brilliant. It isn’t the cheapest of restaurant, but the service you get is worth every penny spent. Imagine a romantic dinner with dark skies above you; it is an image easy to keep for a long time.

A pleasant restaurant with just the right relaxed, controlled, Italian atmosphere. Excellent service from poised and courteous staff, and a wide selection of dishes to chose from. On summer evenings it is particularly enjoyable to sit beneath the high, conservatory-style ceiling in the main restaurant — a gem which can go otherwise overlooked on darker nights. Watch out, however, for the table water which is bottled, not tap(if you flinch mercenarily at the sight of a clear, shiny bottle advancing your way with the promise of lightening your pockets unnecessarily.) The artwork around the room is also a reletively distressing subject. Unless sugary re-workings of holiday snaps are your thing, simply avert your eye and conentrate on the food.
