Amazing place with great service! I had biked past The Beaderie a few times, but the first time I went in was when I had broken two necklaces. One of them had a chain that I had pulled apart, and the other was of some other metal-type-thing with crimped metal bits holding beads on.(I have a really bad habit of pulling on my necklaces). There was only one worker when I went in, so I did have to wander around the store — they have really pretty beads, and a great selection, especially considering how the place is on the small side. There’s lots of unique beads, as well as stringing materials and tools. Once I finally got up to the counter, the lady working there fixed my one chain necklace in less than a minute — no charge. The second, more complicated one, she took overnight, but reassured me that she would not only be able to fix it, but she’d be able to fix it without altering the length. I picked it up the next day for about £2.50 — a little on the pricey side for what was done, but MUCH less than any other jewelry repair place, and I couldn’t do it myself! I will definitely be back if I have any other repair needs, and may actually decide to take my first beading course here!
