Food is great for the price and the staff are very friendly.

Me(to my friends): Trailer of Life Friends: –nods– Trailer of Life We had an unspoken understanding. If we were up at night and hungry(whether we were studying or at a club), Trailer of Life was the place to go. Their chips were phenomenal: perfect size(not too thick, but enough to get that potato crunch), perfectly crisp, and only £1.60! And don’t even get me started on their cheese chips… My friends’ favorite were the delicious chicken quesadillas. You’re not going to find a better quesadilla in Cambridge than here, AND they give you a stack of four(or more, I can’t remember). Also, I discovered their amazing chicken nuggets a little too late, but those were some of the best nuggets I’ve ever had. Crisp and meaty. I’m salivating just thinking about it. I found salvation here at the Trailer of Life, and made very many great memories, too. Thank you for being such an integral part of my trip to Cambridge.

Market square at Cambridge features 2 vans that you can find yourself going to at 2am in the morning. The Trailer of Life, and the other one, which is derided as «the Trailer of Death». I honestly couldn’t tell you after a night out that the Trailer of Life is that much better, but I’ve since had the trailer of life entirely sober and I can confirm that it is pretty good! The fries with melted cheese is a must have. Something about how they quickly squirt, mayo with ketchup with some other sauce that all comes together to take the burger to another level. The Coke never seems to be cold enough though, which is a disappointment.

I forgot I even visited this«trailer» when I was in Cambridge last year. It was my last evening at Pembroke and we Yanks had all spent the day engaging in inebriated debauchery. We made that last day count! After all that, a small group of us decided to hit this infamous spot up for some takeaway as we were in dire need of major grubbage. I ordered a huge burger with bacon, and a side of «chips.» I ate the pile of chow back at my room in V building and I must say that it was VERYTASTY! The burger was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were fresh. The chips were hearty but I could do without the mayo dipping sauce. That to me is just gross, but to each his/her own I guess. Service was satisfactory and quick — I can imagine how undeniably tough it can be working in a hot kitchen serving chow to hungry drunkards in the wee hours of the night. I commend the line cooks for their professionalism, attention to detail, and prompt service. I wonder if the food would taste any different had I come straight-laced and sober. …til I return Trailer of Life as we shall meet again!

This place is amazing for drunchies being located right outside of Fez club. They seem to always be open too. *Tip: On Fridays and Saturdays McDonalds is open 24/7, and other days McDonalds is still open pretty late and is 30 seconds away and cheaper. Still though, this place is solid.

This was my go-to spot every time after a long night of drunkenness HAHA! BREADEDMUSHROOMS! HOTWINGS! THEBESTBACONCHEESEBURGEREVER! I have yet to find a place in the U.S. that makes me swoon the way they have. I believe the owners are Polish? I could be totally wrong, but they are AWESOME! Super friendly with a really sarcastic sense of humor. I swear, the line is CRAZY every night, but they manage to get through everyone quickly and efficiently. The location is perfect too! I lived at King’s College, so it was conveniently located right across the street in Market Square. It was just so easy to stumble there after a night of drinking or intense studying :) God I miss this place…

Thank you, Trailer of Life(aka van of life). Without you, my late night food cravings would be left to their desolate, bemoaning devices. Parked in the market square from 6 pm to the crack of dawn, the Trailer of Life makes college life easier, keeping students from working on an empty stomach! Try their onion rings, or the regular fare of burger and chips– their veggie burgers are delicious and consist of deep fried potato patties with corn, peas, carrots, etc. This place definitely makes up an integral part of college/resident life.
