Asian fusion place with good and fast service — its passable as an option but I think I will always opt for something else if available. Had the wagamama ramen which was underwhelming. Mom had the buri bowl which was actually quite nice with brown rice. Will try their yakisoba and chili squid next to see if it has better options

It’s a chain — based largely on noodles. If you like fast-food asian noodles — this is your spot. Good location. Good vibe. Decent service at family tables. I wanted to like it more. But, while I’m a huge fan of asian flavors — I’m not so much of those that replace more proteins and veggies with noodlies… which this kind of does.

Great place for ramen lunch. The sirloin and short rib ramen are a slam dunk if you are looking for a decent amount of beef. Casual cool dining room and fast, friendly service.

Simple, easy and cheap. A friend and I decided to meet for an impulsive dinner and wanted cheap and cheerful. In the area there isn’t many options and I always have a hankering for noodles and gyoza so wagamamas suited that perfectly. The Canary Wharf branch is large, with long benches — as the norm. We were seated quickly and as it wasn’t overly busy, could choose our table and had our own space and area for the entire evening. The food came out quickly and service was on point. In and out in an hour. I opted for the pulled pork gyoza and the yaki soba. Both were enjoyable and the pulled pick actually had more of a Peking duck flavour to it which was nice. Sure Wagamamas is a chain and the quality isn’t up there with the best of London but for quick and easy food it was spot on and just what we needed!

Wagamama’s can always be relied on for good, quick food. The pad thai wasn’t quite as good as I had hoped but still enjoyed it! The wine menu is surpsiringly good!

I have been to the Canary Wharf Wagamama a number of times and used to love it — quick service, massive portions, not bad value for money, free green tea. But then I decided to check the calorie content in their food and was shocked. According to their own website, they manage to pack an astonishing amount of calories into some fairly innocent looking foods. E.g. Grilled duck ramen(grilled meat in a soup, you’d think it would be decently healthy) is 990 calories, that’s like two bigmacs. Most curries are over 1k calories. And don’t tell me about the macros — these are not all good calories. So if you don’t care about this kind of stuff — you will enjoy this place. If you do — order wisely.

Not bad. U can find wagsmama nearly everywhere in London. It’s good for lunch and light dinner. Recommend vegetarian dishes, which are seasoned well and tasty.

Food in Wagamama is not bad, but it is not great either. This place is good for a quick meal… my favorites are the chili squid, Wagamama ramen and Yaki Udon. They are served in generous portions so it is worth the price as long as you are not looking for something fancy. Service is always quick and good here!

Went for lunch with a friend for the first time to a Wagamana branch, and I really enjoyed everything. Food was very good — I ordered the chilli prawn with rice, and it was really flavourful. We also had duck gyoza, and it went very nicely with the plum sauce it was served with. Service was surprisingly good and quick. We went at the peak of the lunch hours, and the place was rather crowded, but our food arrived promptly and the servers were on top of their game. Not much to comment on ambience — it is what it is being a chain. One downside was that it was quite loud, so I had to almost shout throughout the conversations. Overall, very good and I’d definitely go back.

Been to this particular Wagamamas quite a few times before. We always go in the evening so I have never had to queue. It’s great for a quick, tasty meal! The staff are all very friendly and attentive and the service is quick! Standard Wagas set-up, communal benches and tables, very plain and simple, very clean and tidy in the Canary Wharf restaurant. The food always tastes good, its yummy, clean Japanese inspired cuisine, I would recommend– the juices, the Pulled Pork Gyoza, Edamame, Chicken Katsu Curry and the Ginger Chicken Udon.

Fast service, but noisy ambience. Food is decent when you stick with a few options. Some staff are very helpful. others need a bit more training.

Quick, fast lunch spot. I got the chicken kare lomen which was a curry coconut soup with noodles seemed like ramen). It tasted fine but could have used more veg. Broth could have had more flavour but overall, not a bad lunch option.

Good food for a chain. Can be pricey if you order more than two sides. Since I’m vegetarian, I have to basically order sides. My husband loves the fried squid. Exceptionally speedy service and the wait staff are very good.

Wagamama, oh how the mighty have fallen. There was a time, back in 1994, when one could go to Wagamama in Coptic Street, have to queue for 15 minutes or so just to sit down, but get a Ramen and drink for less than £5. I don’t think anything on the menu is less than £5 anymore. Now, the wagamama offering is still tasty for the most part, but the entire menu seems to be constructed from the same basic ingredients that are strung together in different ways, so it’s like lego fast food made to look like properly prepared meals. The Canary Wharf branch is among the worse ones, because it ALWAYS has a queue, which really puts me off going there most of the time.

My friend and I came here yesterday after the movies and from the start received really good and friendly service, though with a couple of mishaps — incorrect drinks being brought and after the starter came, etc. We forgave them though as on the whole, along with the food, it was great. We shared the gyozas and a new prawn dish for starters, I had the Yasai Pad Thai for a main and it was delicious and my flatmate had the Salmon Teriyaki. He had the apple, celery and mint juice drink which was divine and I enjoyed the orange berry juice which also was lovely but i had drink envy after tasting his! Would definitely return.

Really good for what it is! It’s very tailored to a western palette, but I did enjoy it a lot! The noodle soups are delicious and really generous portions for England. My only slight complaint is the lack of spice, even the hot sauces they brought over to us were a little bland.

Wagamama is such a fun restaurant! Located in the underground Jubilee Place Mall, this restaurant«sits» above the GBK. For a chain, the food is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable(especially for the expensive city of London). On a Sunday for lunch this Wagamama wasn’t too busy, so my friends and I were seated at one of their long picnic-type tables by ourselves. During the height of weekday lunch you may be seated with strangers, but that just adds to the fun… perhaps you’ll be seated next to a tall dark stranger in a business suit. You never know. We snacked on some edamame with salt before our entrees arrived. I loved my Chicken Tama Rice… it was a nice size portion and so yummy! If I lived in London, I’d eat at Wagamama at least once a month. Hint: Green Tea is free… but you have to know to ask for it. :)

I don’t give a damn is a restaurant is a chain. I only care if the food is good… The food is good. I’ve heard about Wagamama for years and only this time in London did I have the chance to try it. I had the spicy fried rice with beef bowl(also with egg and kimchi) and it was quite tasty. I added just a bit of the chili oil to give it a kick. Also had a cup of jasmine green tea. Yummy for the tummy. Service was very good and the price of the meal was very reasonable. Overall a great experience and I would most definitely return if given the opportunity.

Right lets get straight to the point! Fantastic customer service! Immaculate restaurant! Yeah the menu confusing but hey! Ive come here for one meal and one meal only and that is… wait for it… CHICKENKATSUCURRY… seriouly AMA-ZING! Chicken breast wrapped in panko bread crumbs were tender and crispy and soooo good. The curry was dancing its flavours in my mouth, the sticky rice had the right stickiness and the salad was fresh. I mean what a wonderful meal! It topped off my Bday well.
