A tight space; unusual for Boots. They still have most of the usual drugs like Ibuprofen and Loratadine, but perhaps not as huge a variety of cosmetics and toiletries.

Those used to the massive Boots emporium on Queen Street will be disappointed when stepping into the dinky setup of this Cowbridge Road East branch. Although, I guess it serves its purpose as a reliable, big-name pharmacy, but all I wanted when I came in here the other day was one of their iconic meal deals — only they don’t have any coolers, so even the bottles of fizzy drinks are left propped on a shelf next to the front till. Aw, shucks. Luckily, they did have a few energy bars in stock, so that sufficed. This Boots also carries a small range of essentials, which is handy if you’re in the area and need plasters or baby items. Parking here is impossible — it’s not really worth a drive out here, so you’re much better off walking or taking the bus. Otherwise, the Cardiff Bay Boots, or the one in town, has parking nearby.
